Liudmila Anoshenkova painting works

As a student in the Media class, I approach painting as a deeply performative medium. Fourteen years ago, I began my journey with the white canvas—a space that simultaneously intimidated and fascinated me. The vast white space carried its own weight, an additional pressure compounded by the traditionally male-dominated history of the medium.

 

Over time, I’ve embraced the canvas as a space for freedom and expression, transforming fear into liberation. Today, I find myself dancing on this very human surface, creating in a world increasingly influenced by AI.
